Re: Airman's Battle Uniform (ABU)
Nice one! Is that the 1st model with inner pockets, 2nd model without, or the new 3rd model with lighter weight material (and a host of smaller changes)?
Wow... 2004 production date on that hat. That must have been a part of the first batch.

Re: Airman's Battle Uniform (ABU)
Friend of mine just snagged me an ABU coat from her fiancee's base (no idea how, but she assures me she got it legally)
just waiting for her to ship it.

Re: Airman's Battle Uniform (ABU)
i just looked back at my set and the one posted on this thread seems to have camo print changes to the dark gray stripes, it seems they broken up the biggers stripes into smaller bits.

Does anyone have one of the traditional blue tiger stripe ABU prototypes?

Re: Airman's Battle Uniform (ABU)
Yes, I have a Type II set in pretty good used condition. Wish it was still fully badged as the badges are impossible to get.
I also have a good condition special issue ABS-G (1st Model, I think).

You are so lucky to have a lot of this stuff, Bravo. Your collection alone contains a couple of my "holy grail" items.
