Iraqi Camo Uniform

I thought I would post this uniform that I brought back from Iraq in 91. I found this in a deserted bunker. The uniform has officer insignia and Para wings, and I believe Republican Guard triangles. The area we were clearing had been controlled by Republican Guard units. This seems to be commercial, Korean made. Any comments?

Nice set. The Iraqis bought a lot of items 'off the shelf' especially camouflage uniforms. Hard to dispute the provenance if you've picked it off the battlefield yourself! If you ever want to offload it, I'd be interested ...

Nice one! That's a typical ME/Iraqi cut, so I doubt it was "off the shelf". Korean stuff isn't cut like this at all.

I've only heard of the Chinese making this type, nicknamed "barbed wire" (for obvious reasons). However, perhaps the Koreans originated it and the Chinese copied it? The Chinese version is for temperate areas IIRC, not desert.

I really like this pattern , its very cool !

Interesting pattern, almost like chocolate chip, but not quite. I like the barbed-wire spindles incorporated into it. Very cool item to have indeed!
