Very cool. Is that a 6 Color desert M1 Helmet cover? If so, can I please see a close up of the cover's stamp? I've been looking for proof of these actually being an issue item. Thanks.

    Hi Andrew.

Nope sorry Mate,it's a Six Colour/Choc chip cover on a Pasgt Lid,but I do own a Six colour M1 cover , which is unmarked, and ID'd on the USMF as a Kuwaiti cover!

The Medic lids are original, the top one is Korean issue, the Bottom one is WW2,but sadly the Rangers lid,is a Korean era lid,and was mocked up to look like an original, from the guy I got it off.

The lid on the middle shelf, with the horizontal rank, was restored by me,from the original markings e.g. French issued M1.

But 98% of my collection are original, mainly Front seams re-issued for Korean war,or Vietnam.

Thanks for looking and for your interest.
