Brought back from the Ukraine by an ex girlfriend.... apparently rounded up from people in her village.

The shoulder boards is for junior officiers( lt-capt) of police( miliciya). It's hard to tell about the stars( if it's "little", for junior officiers, if it's "big" for seniors officiers)

Any ideas on the headgear at all?

The "side cap"(PILOTKA) for enlist and NCO,the "star"( looks like for reserve soldiers( PARTIZANS). About field cap,could you show better photos?
