Steve, need to clarify brother, this isn't a Para uni. It comes from a member of the MOI Security Forces, Iraqi National Police in this case, or what used to be known as the Iraqi Special Police Commandos. The group that I was embeded with the first time. This particular set came from one of my students in my most recent trips over there.
You would think it would be Airborne affiliated, with that insignia, BUT....it is not, and you will see that or variations of it on many of the military / para-military forces. In addition, you will usually see the rectangle patch, with wings. Just like the ones you have posted in your recent arrivals thread. I will see if I can dig up some pics from my advisor time to show you what I mean.

Thanks Mike , I will make the change , my head has been on this movie and the secret guy I have been trading with ,I think he is a SEAL , but he wont confirm or deny LOL .

Good find Philip. They are fond of wearing the insignia of the various American units they have partnered, operated with, along, etc...
