Yhea I thought so too , the vest mag pouches are smaller then they appear, but I guess they could be for AK74 mags now that I think about it , I dont think AK 47 mags would fit .

The Uniform is U.S. DCU modified with the pockets moved and eppulates added , the scarf came with it as well and is a very nice soft one , not the issue kind you usually see ,so I think its the real deal or someone went to a lot of trouble to put this together for $70 which I paid for it ,and if the vest is Russian , it would sell for close to that on its own , so I think this is the real deal , Might have to spend some time looking for pics of this guy if they exist.

It is not russian vest, this is 100% ukrainian vest. Made in Kiev, factory "TEMP-3000"

I can call to factory "TEMP-3000" (I know a managare from factory) and ask about a contract to AFGHANISTAN

Two similiar patches on uniform belong to Afghan PRC unit trained by Australian SOTG in Uruzgan.
