Re: Rwanda
I have the same jacket, but I've seen a different style of trousers than what Gilles has. It has thick rectangular pads on the knees with many lines of stitching going left to right. Unfortunately I lost the bid on the trousers and I don't think I saved the pictures.
And yes, it is one of the prettiest variants of DPM I know of.

Re: Rwanda
Very nice camouflage, Gilles! I have to agree with Steve; definitely one of the more interesting DPM-variants I have seen.

Re: Rwanda
Hello Danilo
The colors of your picture are identical at my set and maybe also the cut of the garment
Note that the garment have Belgium cut ( On the first picture the jacket is zippered and have snap on pocket)

i don't think this is the same pattern gilles, i think this is the "reeds pattern" or grasslands - from bophuthatsuana (south africa homeland) and this is a slangvel jacket...
I did find a few other rwanda pics of this pattern being worn.
your set is truly beautiful, this patterns is known as Sparse DPM and was manufactured by south korea...
first some other pics of the "reeds pattern" for comparison
now the "sparse DPM" camo
and finally some generic rwandan uniforms
and another sample of the sparse dpm uniform

Re: Rwanda
Great pics!
There is a variation of trousers for the beautiful green/rust colored DPM set. They are cut like old Portuguese trousers with integrated kneepads that have about 20 horizontal lines of stitching. I saw one set and it went for significant money. Had I know what it was at the time I would have bid much higher. And unfortunately I didn't keep pictures of it!

And here's another type of jacket...

Re: Rwanda
That's the one
The set I saw was in identical colors to Gilles and Danilo's, which is the same as what I have (para type jacket only). Yours looks like it might have had a tanish base even when new?

Re: Rwanda
I'm curious in terms of the label on these uniforms. It says it's made by a company in Rwanda and yet label is in english. Would this be that it was made under contract probably in an english speaking coutnry for Rwanda company?
