I just received one of these uniforms. I'd never seen or heard of it before. I like it, but it's a little too dark IMHO.

Superb sets of Latvian camouflage!
Have to find a source for these patterns. I bumped into some of their troops which came down to Hurlburt Field a few years back for some training with other European Nations troops. Man I was like a kid in a candy shop until my boss 
put the stop to any trading of uniforms. One of the countries had a wine red, brown and green pattern with what looked like grape vines running thru it. Sadly I missed seeing it. 
I just wanted a photo of it and to know which country it came from. Possibly a trial pattern for the wine growing country out in Kalifornia or Oregon.

Bruce, reading that post I thought you were going to say you'd snagged a set of that amazingly neat (and harder than you-know-what to find) Latvian digital camouflage!

Man I wish that I had snagged that trials set. If one of the security forces guys would have picked it up for me that would have been great as I know some of them were trading with many of the combat teams there on Hurlburt Field. I guess I was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Now on the shoulder patch on Steve Gs & Danilos shirts, is that for their ministry of interior military police? Pretty cool. Bruce

Why was the trading of uniforms stopped by command? Security concerns?

Yes the powers that be, thought that concerns would come up when the OICs of these troops did a shake down inspection and they did not have their normal day to day uniforms. Plus as you mentioned. Did not have this problem years back when our unit hosted the winter ski championships in Vermont. There everyone brought uniforms with them to trade for US alchol. Kinda like a duty free area. I did score a few uniforms off the Swedes and the Norwegians. The good old days.

Nice one, seeing as Swedish and Norwegian uniforms can be difficult to come by. I almost drove myself crazy trying to find Swedish M90!
