nice, what did you pay for them? i ask as i just got a P85 combat jacket and my local stores dont have any trouser to match, and the ones online seem over priced to me.

Nice combat trousers, Gary! The button-down beltloops were the best part of the pre-95 kit. Smile

85 trews were nice, but I think my favourite prior to the CS95s would have to be the 94 pattern temperate trousers.

Thanks for looking Mate, these were dead cheap ( the price of a pint!!), and I can relate to on-line prices being a complete rip off...keep plugging away, sometimes there are bargains to be had...I find this time of the year kit is cheap on places like ebay, cos' everyone's splashed out on chrimbo stuff, and haven't any spare cash Wink

    Thanks Ben.

These 85's are a completely different material ,compared to the 94's....I like the idea of the rear pockets though Wink

I find it odd that the rear pockets were cut from later designs... and brought back on the 95s, although the singular rear pocket seems like an afterthought: "Hmm...we've got some spare fabric and an extra button left over here, let's put a pocket right there!" Laughing

Yeah, again good point,I often wondered the same thing, never really saw the point of a single pocket, especially as they don't have a flap to cloose it properly...about as much use as a chocolate teapot really Smile

I think the single butt pocket, must have been a "Friday afternoon" design feature myself Laughing

    Chocolate teapot...gotta remember that one!

Yes, your idea for the logic behind the pocket does make sense... "It's 4:49 and quitting time is at 5, but we still need another pocket..." Laughing

Chocolate teapot,is one of many British saying's ...Mate, I could write a book about them all,but somebody probbaly already has,and is now living off the profit's Wink

Here's a local saying I'll share with you..."As much use ,as a tit on a fish"...think about it scratch Laughing

The Friday afternoon is another Brit thing I suppose,I think it harks back to anything British made that is utter crap...Google British Motor Industry ( Austin ,Leyland,Rover etc, and you'll get my point Wink
