What school are these used in?Is it just me or....do the shapes form animales?

That's a fabulous collection.

As an aside to American collectors, and anyone else who might be interested, S. Korean schoolchildren actually tend the graves of foreign service-people who were KIA'd during the Korean conflict with scissors. I know that this little factoid lends little to the actual subject-matter, but imagine kids wearing this stuff, trimming up grass around grave-sites. Korea is a fascinating place. =]

Amazing haul....Thanks for posting this extensive collection.

For this one I think it is a reissue, because the material is different that all the other, the cut of the garment and the size, this one is a decent size, medium short, all other of my garment are small short for the bigger

The Uniform Called '교련복(GyoRyeonBok, means cloth for school drill)'.
Student wear it with 교련화(Shoes for GyoRyeon), 교련각반(Gaiter for GyoRyeon) 교련벨트(Belt for GyoRyeon), School Uniform Cap during GyoRyeon time.

The Sticks on collar means 'Grade'.
Some of patterns mixed with school mark or initials of school name.
All insignia and uniform and pattern are different like modern day school uniforms.

유한공업고등학교 : YuHan Technical High School
해남고(Turtle Pattern) : HeaNam High School
신흥 : ShinHeung High School
양정 : YungJung High School
외대 : maybe Hankuk University of Foreign Studies
ㅊㅏㅇㄴㅕㅇ : ChangNyung High School
滅共(멸공, MyeolGong) : Eliminate Communism
학생교련(HakSengGyoRyeon) : Student Drill

The 교련(Student Drill) was one of school subject.
It started 1969 because of Blue House Raid(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_House_Raid).
Boys training bayonet and combat skill and some army drill, Girls training nursing and some army drill.
It abolished in 1988 in university and collage, because of democratic movement.
Also abolished in 1990s~2000s in High School, because of end of Soviet and Problem with Human Right.
