    Unissued condition but has had the pocket flap removed and d rings to rear also removed.

    Nice 3rd pattern BGS jacket. It's been demilitarized through the removal of the shoulder flap. Often you will find these with vertical stitching on the rear as part of this procedure.

    D rings are also missing. I hate to see things demilled (shakes fist at BGS!).

    This is a last year of manufactured jacket. If you compare it with the other one you have you'll see no significant differences. The only thing you'll note for sure is the rank loops at the shoulder seam are slightly different sizes. This reflects the changeover to wider, plastic reinforced straps somewhere around 1970.
