Tap Para Smock Worn By British Soldier???

A well worn Tap smock-nothing special/interesting about that i guess other than it has a British Soldiers Name,Rank and Number written inside it

I cannot imagine for the life of me where he would have been permitted to wear this smock without getting an almighty bollocking from his superiors

On Field Exercises, all sorts is worn, I've seen Multicam, US Woodland, Allsorts. If the certain L/cpl is OPFOR then using other foreign kit can be permitted. My Dad was up against some lads from the RGJ posing as Spetsnaz in Russkie kit.

Brilliant looking smock though, I've always liked this pattern.

French Lizard is pretty awesome, Rodney always wears an identical smock to this in Only Fools and Horses.

Wish i had a nicer/better condition one but mustn't grumble i guess!!!

One of the early Military Illustrated magazines had an article on RM Commando dress in Northern Ireland - one of the colour plates featured a Marine wearing a French lizard smock and bright tropical DPM pants.
