Bright & Faded Trops Empty Bright & Faded Trops

    Post by Camo_fiend Fri Jul 01, 2011 10:49 pm

Nothing special, but tropical DPM is one of my favourites. I know in the photos they all seem kind of similar, but in person, they really all do look different. I just love all the fading variations of the trops.

This is the "newest" of the shirts, with the best colour fastness; run of the mill tropical DPM.

A nicely faded shirt, with the notorious dark green outline surrounding the faded green blotches.

Of all the trops I have, this one's probably my favourite in regard to its fading. (The wacky fading variations are why I love collecting them). The photo really doesn't do it justice -- the green is more of a lime colour, the brown has gone to a "Martian red", and most of the black has faded to a purple hue.

I guess we are the resident "trop freaks". We appreciate good old trop kit when we see it! Laughing

These are far superior to the CS95 stuff...both in camouflage ability and overall allyness factor. Trops with a P58 belt looks pretty sharp.

The concept of CS95 was good, but the final result... well, not so much. I like these better.

Agreed, the old school factor reigns supreme, the more faded and trippy the colours the better me thinks Wink
