Oh, ok, I picked this patch up at the ASMIC convention a few years ago. It was in with non-US insignia which were predominantly South and Central American insignia. It is roughly 2 7/8 inches in diameter (7.3 cm). It is probably1960’s to 1980’s because the fellow from whom I purchased it has had it for ages.

This patch is from the Venezuelan Army circa 1960s but I don't know the unit.

It might be for the Batallón de Infantería “José Antonio Páez", but I'm not a 100% sure.
