The New digital camo for amiri guard camo was introduced in 2011, the army had adopted first in 06/07, thats 4 years apart.

Is the insignia thats on the hat specific to Kuwait's Royal Guards? I just came across the same type of uniform hat with the same insignia but in the digital desert pattern (sort of like MARPAT/AOR1 colors). Cant find much about Kuwait's military insignias. Please let me know

The badge is generic armed forces. Sounds like you found a standard Army digital cap.
