I've had this set since the early '90s. I have almost gotten rid of it a few times because I thought the camo was the typically 'commercial' tiger stripe that one encounters but the construction of the items themselves still has me guessing ..
It is very similar to some Thai uniforms I have although the camo is of no Thai pattern I have seen before. I thought perhaps Philippines as they also used the US jungle cut, however, I am not familiar enough with Filipino camo to know for sure.
Although not shown, it also came with a similarly solidly constructed USMC type cap in the same camo pattern.
Any thoughts?
Note how the pigment of the black stripes has bled through on the pants - this has not been the case on the jacket material. I would describe the material weight as 'medium'. No tags or markings in any of the items whatsoever.
