Yes.
FV 432 and LR Santana is private stuff of our fiends (and armored car ferret too), and now we thinking about own LR Defender. And our next friends have some ex soviet armored vehicles and we can make some staging from Iraqi Gulf War and Afghan. (Basra 2003 or something)

...and I thought I had a ton of British kit!
Where did you find the Osprey vests? They seem to be hit or miss on eBay; but I will admit I haven't looked lately.

Re: British troops in Afghanistan
Thanks Mates
Our friendly polish military shop have this for tones for nice prices. Mk2 and sometimes Mk3 (last monts we buy everything Mk3 )
Im my collection I have Mk1, Mk2 and Mk3.
Our unit was formed 3 years ago. We re-enact 42 Royal Marines Commando and Royal Regiment of Scotland. Now we have about 50 members gathered in HQ and 4 platoons RMC as well as in an independent battalion 3 SCOTS Black Watch. We cooperate with other Polish reenacting group - 40RMC and Royal Irish Rangers. Jointly with other British Forces in Poland and We have about 100 members. From spring till autumn we take part in re-enactment events, popularizing the tea drinkers’ war craft and lifestyle. We have also intensive field craft training and whenever possible we join in MilSim parties.
MilSim is not our only concern, that’s why we closely cooperate with groups which are – as much as us – keen on Brittish history and heritage, like the Celtica Society, whose members re-enact life and culture of slightly older inhabitants of the British Isles (http://www.celtica.org.pl/eng.php) and with a Scottish Country Dance Group called Celtica-scd (http://scd.celtica.pl/). Recently we get in touch with the only Polish Pipes & Drums Band (http://www.cpad.pl/).
And finnaly small movie from reenacting event "Operation South"
We staging "Road to Basra 2003" (circa 0100 to end)

Amazing ... great effort all around! I can't help thinking whether somewhere hidden on the British Isles, there is a dedicated group of individuals who re-enact ... the Polish Army!

Very THX for recognition, Mates! We hard working to be like genuine British soldiers
Tommo, I know, but cost of arrived all unit to UK is too expensive for us, but in next year from spring till autumn invite to Poland. We take part in more re-enactment events. Parcitipate is free (only cost are arrived and some self food).
Poland is really not wild, wild East

I have to say that this was delightedly unexpected and very enjoyable thread. The attention to detail puts many UK living history people to shame.

Re: British troops in Afghanistan
I would actually love to come, but I'm working on Danish kit, but that being said, Danes and us Brits work together quite closely in Afghan anyway
I probably won't make it for these dates, but I'd love to come over sometime, as this kind of modern re-enacting is exactly my kind of thing! Will there be photos for these events?
