General Ermita's Uniforms

Back when I was travelling heavily in the Philippines, I got to put some great things away in my collection.
I went on a call one day to a person's house to look at local made jewelry (another attempt at starting a side business that went wrong). As I was talking to the lady who was in charge she asked what else I did. I mentioned I colected military items and she said her husband was in the military and to hold on. She went into the house and brought me these two uniforms. She said they were spares of her husbands and I was welcome to them. Even just being a tourist, I knew who her husband was. At that time he was part of the Philippine Headquarters, and if I remember right it was equal to the US Joint Chiefs. Plus, she then told me he had served in Vietnam with one of the PI contingents. I never did get to meet her husband, and trust me I tried, but these have been in a prime location in my collection since then. Plus, they saved my ass leaving the country with too many military items, but thats a story for another day.
First his jungle fatigues. Standard US issue but with all his insignia.

i have a pair of pants of your cammo uniform... man those are rare, nobody in the philippines seem to know where to find one

Always great to see a common uniform made rare by the wearer. It's even better to see a rare uniform made rarer by the wearer Danilo is right, these are very difficult uniforms to get a hold of.
