I know very little about this pin,It was given to me by my friends dad,who had served with the 101st Airborne and then later The Green beret.This pin is in someway connected to the 101st,but I am not sure who would have worn it.If you can not make it out,it says Eyes of the Eagle.

311th Military Intelligence Battalion.

Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 311th Army Security Agency Battalion, redesignated 1 June 1982 as Headquarters, Headquarters and Operations Company, 311th Military Intelligence Battalion , assigned to the 101st Airborne Division, and activated at Fort Campbell, Kentucky (265th Army Security Agency Company and 101st Military Intelligence Company [see ANNEX 2] concurrently reorganized and redesignated as Companies A and B).
