I have seen a picture of Slangvel trousers but never a coverall

There was more than one variant of this overall, (possibly 3 types). The one in the first post is a later type - the pic from the book comes from a cycle around the 2007 time period. Note they overall that the instructor is wearing, a bit like the SADF tanker's uniform. It's a different, lighter material, naturally a different cut and has some sort of soft padding sewn into the material in the elbow and other necessary points.
