AOR1 Crye Army Custom Combat Pants

A guy that owed me a pair of Crye AOR1 combat pants gave me them today and i just now looked at the tag and instead of the normal "Navy Custom" i see "Army Custom"!! Ive heard about these and only seen one other pair of them. Why would a certain SEAL team at Dam Neck (lol) be getting Army Custom AOR1 pants when every Army SF guy i see getting issued AOR1 is Navy Customs?!? Whats the differences and i take it this was a very limited run since they dont appear on the market much? Anyone know what unit actually ordered these? (Dev, JSOC, Cag?). thanks much! ** Also instead of being marked as Combat Pants they are labeled as Field Pants but they look just like Combats with the kneepad pockets, stretch panels and other features....

Found out from a JSOC/CAG friend of mine a little about these Army Customs. Apparently they were ordered in a real small batch from Crye 3-5 years ago as a test/experiment for JSOC/CAG and the AOR1 Army Customs got beat-out by Multicam, hence what they mainly wear now.

Anyone know a little more about this or the actual contract (ie how many pairs they ordered?)

I would like to know too. I have the combat pants and barracks shirt. I have been told that it also was some dude conned crye into making set to sell for cash. I like your story better as it would mean they are worth something
