--I actually traded some stuff for this, and managed to get an authentic, complete Greek uniform out of the deal as well-- this was more-or-less an afterthought/curiosity acquisition.

The fellows whom I got it from referred to it as "Unknown Far-East Camo."

Probably true, although whether or not it ever served any kind of official capacity is a bit dubious. Still... it looks cool. =]





Any ideas?

Very nice! It's African, not Asian. Specifically Guyana. Very difficult to get a hold of.

I am *so* glad that y'all knew what this was, as I had it slotted for "hunting & fishing apparel" (I neither hunt, nor fish... but you never know what might come about).

For what it is worth-- to my local brothers, I should mention that this came from Full Metal Jacket, down in Alexandria. I strongly recommend them. All of my trades there have been fair, in my opinion, and their prices are not nearly as grossly exaggerated as most of the other local shoppes in the DMV (or eBay, for that matter). I've gotten Norwegian, Belgian, French, Greek, British, Russian, and apparently Guyanan items there. Perhaps not the biggest, nor the very best (whatever that means-- I'm not the best judge, since most surplus stores I have ever been to were awful), but certainly a happy detour from "average."
