Denison smock??Pants?Backpack?

WWII Camouflage Windproof smock (known often as 'SAS windproof), WWII 'A' Frame Bergen rucksack, trousers ... my bet would be the OD lightweight trousers (60's-70's issue)

The trousers appear to be camouflage, but it's difficult to say. No knee reinforcements. I can't remember if the windproofs had reinforcements or not. But it does rule out Belgian Brush since they do have reinforcements.

Judging by the M79 grenade launcher on his back, I'd say this is a mercenary from the 1960s or 1970s.

IT WAS without doubt one of the most heroic defences in British military history and the raw courage of nine SAS men against an estimated 400-strong rebel army at the Battle of Mirbat still sends a shiver down my spine.On the pic they are 14 ???

The smock does look to be WW2 Windproof, but still too difficult to tell what the trousers might be. I did a quick check and the WW2 Windproofs had reinforced knees, so it is not likely to be that.

I think that trousers might be just dirty, one cannot simply find a laundry in Oman in 1970s
