i've got some questions about the paraclete rav (left one). which units (U.S.) used or still use this vest? what kind of pouches would be the "right" ones? paraclete or rlcs...?
    thanks,

    Philip,

At one time the RAV was a fairly common SOCOM item. It has since been replaced by Eagle's CIRAS and BAE's RBAV vests...similar in design and concept. Any MOLLE-compatible pouch would be correct, Paraclete's own pouches, issued SPEAR or MOLLE pouches, TT's pouches.

    Merc,

Not to slap you down but the Ranger Regiment has been using Eagle's RLCS kit including the CIRAS vest (similar to the RAV) and SF has been using the CIRAS in a different color with BAE's RBAV coming on line as well.

Really? I recall I've seen some of them had vest like this. Maybe it is just me, most of MOLLE vests look the same with many pouches on. Very Happy

Merc, the RLCS kit comes in Eagle's Ranger Green, which looks a lot like the pictured RAV in Paraclete's Smoke Green. The basic design of the CIRAS vest is similar (like as in Eagle got sued similar) to the RAV so it takes some digging to sort the two out. There may well be some legacy RAVs in some units or as private purchase items, so who can say for sure.
