beer stein

An old beer stein I have used on special occasions.

First toast is always dedicated to Max.

German beer only, of course...

Don't know if you are aware of it or not, but your stein is a 70s/80s Fake made by a guy in Wis or Mich (if I remember right). He made steins for Lw, Heer, Kriegsmaring, W-SS, SS and seems like political.
I got screwed by him many years ago. He used to run big adds in Shotgun News.
The big give away are the markings on the bottom. The RZM mark was NEVER used on military items and you will not find an Army Infantry Assault badge used in conjunction with Luftwaffe items.
I have several original WW 2 period beer steins and none have any similar markings on the bottom.

Wisconsin sounds right.  I still have a load of photos from him...

Did not get much from me, and I still use it to hoist a few, on occasion....

Very pretty fake, and have seen others.....
