Quite a decent rucksack to be honest, any ideas what exactly would have been carried in it originally?

As the pictures aren't viewable, is this the one that looks like the old SAS/Para rucksack but from a thin lightweight cordura type material and minus the provision for attaching an external frame?
If so I believe it would have been used for carrying assorted bits of med kit and rations and possibly some sort of shelter kit (like the green/white reversible lightweight 58Patt type poncho) and climate appropriate spare clothing/waterproofs. Most aircrew pack their own go bags of a size of their choosing and whatever they feel is appropriate to any potential survival or SERE scenario they may find themselves in instead of packing one of these in an aircraft these days.
