German trouser Empty Re: German trouser

That's an interesting piece. It is not a German government (military or otherwise) issued item, but it was made by a well known German contractor. Wahler makes things for many different governments as well as the civilian market.

The tag implies this was made for the Italian Army (the E. I. = Esercito Italiano) in 1983. "Taglia" is Italian for "Size".

Yup, those look very much like standart OD Italian trousers, from the 70's-80's I believe, but I've never seen any by that maker.
Interesting. Does the lower trouser legs have zippers?

nope it doesnt have zippers, but it was garterized the previous owner slit the stitches on the lower side to make it wider.
