Yugoslavia National Flag

I got this from a Serbian chap that I purchase items from occasionally. I know this guy served in the JNA, so I thought it would be ok to post here.

It is a big one....10 by 5 feet, two-sided, cotton multi-piece construction with gold braiding around the star. There are a few tears and stains that cannot be seen in the pics. Looks like it was flown at one time, but is missing the cord to do so. I don't know much about these....it was the size and cotton construction that appealed to me.

I have a normal sized one that I picked up in Slovenija in 1990. I was having quite a hard time finding a shop that sold flags. I asked someone about buying one and the person responded "why would you want that?". Yeah, the seeds of the breakup were already pretty apparent if you were looking for them. Eventually I was directed to a tiny shop that had a few. Still have it.
