They look good. How do they hold up in the field?

Well...
First of all, they are much better than any previous boots issued to the Ukrainian armed forces.
They are made according to the newest trends of military footwear.
On the other hand, the boots on the pics are of the first model, there were found some disadvantages of construction, and now they produce an improved versions. The soldiers complaints were connected with internal seam in the heel area, it rubbed the skin. The tank crews and artillerisis informed that the leather on the toe region tends to be scratched too quickly.
If to present the history of Ukrainian military boots by TALAN (Romny city, Sumy region) we will see:
