Nordic Combat Uniform NCU Denmark Finland Norway Sweden

Hello guys,

maybe you already know that. But I just read, that the four scandinavian countries are planning to introduce ONE uniform. They will keep their local camos but will have one uniform.

The contract was signed Februrary 2022 with the Norwegian company Oskar Pedersen A/S. The company is a consortium consisting of four companies (as well as some minor subcontractors):
Siamidis (Greece)
W.L. Gore and Associates GmbH (Germany)
Aclima (Norway)
Woolpower (Sweden)

Uniforms will first be delivered to Finland, then Denmark, Sweden and last to Norway.
The uniforms will be made in the camouflage pattern of the different countries (as stadted by HEB above).

Here you can read the following on the Swedish pattern for the Model 24 field uniform (the official Swedish designation seems to be "Fältuniform 24" - Field Uniform 24):

- A new pattern-protected camouflage has been developed and will be introduced with the new Swedish uniform. The new camouflage is very similar to the pattern used for field uniform 90, it is slightly reduced and three crowns are included in the pattern report, says Jennifer Skjäl Lundgren.

The Norwegians are apperently also changing their camouflage pattern - as the Swedes (AFAIK the Danes dont't)


The above image is from NorArm - a Norwegian company who has released a commercial version of the new Norwegian pattern - and is now being sued by the Norwegian Armed Forces.

The photo is from the Facebook group listed above.

The new Norwegian pattern has the map of Norway as part of the camouflage pattern... ;-) Like the Swedish has the three crowns:
