Vintage 1988 West German Military Border Guard Camo Parka Fleece Lined Large

Hi, I need some help, I recently bought as advertised: - Vintage 1988 West German Military Border Guard Camo Parka Fleece Lined Large, on ebay, when I received it the parka seemed a copy and is made by MIL TEC – STURM

She responded by saying:- Hi there. MIL TEC did not make military clothing they repurposed and graded original military grade surplus uniform to sell on to non military outlets. Their largest base was in former East Germany. It is original not reproduction, it's just been graded and labled by a military surplus store (MilTec), also:- Happy to offer £5 to cover the loose stitching but the jacket is authentic so I will not discount the coat any further.

I need to be sure that this is indeed not as described to stay within my rights to return it as `not as described / doesn't match the listing description, on Ebay, I would appreciate any help as to full details of this parka [for instance is it made in china [a copy] thanks

There may be a chance it is original and retagged. I have seen this with other original items eg East German Strichtarn uniforms retagged with Miltec labels. But it does look commercial, and the pattern looks very bright.

Its not re-tagged. They did it on some stuff but this parka is not real military/borderguard stuff. The colors alone tell that. There are also trousers with the same pattern-copy in the BW-moleskin cut out there.

Yeah it does look suspicious.

The NSN looks dodgy as well, Germany country code is 12 and the seqeunce is wrong for a NIIN/NSN
