I believe this came out of El Salvador (or possibly Honduras). It's DDR cloth and thread. Has leather additon for more strength/durability (I assume).

Does anyone have any specific information about it and it's possible value?

    Thank you in advance.

I think the Sandinistas in Nicaragua wore these in some capacity as well.

Ummmmm....what you have there is a Panamanian Defense Force chest rig!!!!! WOW!!!! It was very common for PDF items to have numbers and letters painted in green on them. I have a captured East German AK bayonet that has green markings painted on it like that.

If you ever figure out what you want for it, please let me know. I'm sure we could work something out.

You are 100% right Arch. That is a PDF issue item. The PDF used to mark all their issue equipment with the acronym F.F.D.D. that stands for "Fuerzas de Defensa".

I have seen the FFDD mark on pouches, bayonets, berets, etc.

Thank you to everyone for the help on IDing this. PDF would make sense since it was bought in Columbus, GA shortly after the invasion of Panama. nkomo, I'll let you know if I'm parting with this.
