I'd have to check with the wife but she is holidaying with her mum, sister and brother on a family thing in ITALY! while I am at home with the kids so she can hardly say no!

And Poland is totally on my place to go list, I worked with a couple of poles at a children's home and they were super lovely and told me everyone in Poland was as nice

Would just be a matter of sorting transport from airport that end and boarding.

Thanks for all nice things you said about us.
Yes, we think we like Brits, and especially their army. Most of us speak English quite well, so you shouldn't have any problems communicating with us. We have contacts with a similar Czech group, so we are used to international cooperation.
We'd like to invite you to an event called "Operation South", where you can find lots of vehicles and other interesting stuff. We'll be reenacting again "Road to Basrah" and "Op Barma" maybe something else. There will be also a big parade of military vehicles in the town. The event is held on 27-29 July in Bielsko Biala (in Upper Silesia, south-west from Cracow). We can pick you up from Cracow airport.
MTP equipment will do but we have lots of spare stuff as well.
You may have problems transporting replica rifle by plane but we shall be able to lend you one of ours.
We sleep in huge military tents, food is available in shops nearby and from catering placed in base.
Prepare for combat conditions, exciting but not particulary comfortable.
You should take:
- sleeping bag
- roll mat
- waterproof jacket (goretex, rainsuit)
- fleece or jumper (nights may be quite cold)
- torch
- personal gear such as underwear, washing kit and so on
- children' wipes and antibacterial gel (water is in short supply there so maintaining personal hygiene is a bit tricky)
- mosquito repellent

Check Ryan Air and other cheap airlines.

Done that, looks to be at LEAST £100 each way and all flying to Warsaw at those prices not Krakow. Not gonna happen at those prices sadly I really thought it'd be peanuts lol.
