Re: Old Pattern camo items
picked up a neat set of the old school Japanese camo , the pants have a charcoal grey/black for the dark color , all my other pieces have a very dark brown , I dont know how many variations there are to the colors of this pattern.
Luckily I have a pair of pants already that match the shirt .

Re: Old Pattern camo items
Yeah, I've seen quite a bit of variation and am not sure how much is wash/wear, and how much is production.

Re: Old Pattern camo items
It is production , you can see in the photo the other colors are the same in both , but the dark is Black lightly faded to dark grey like U.S. woodland BDUs ,kinda neat !
I take that back , the green is darker in the pants as well. but the Med Brown is the same , different dye lots probably .

Re: Old Pattern camo items
One of my favorites!
I did not know they came with camo belts. I have never seen one for this pattern, only for Jeti.

It would be interesting to see some clearer views of the webbing equipment.

Re: Old Pattern camo items
Camo belts in this pattern exist; I have seen uniforms that had them.
Likely, most cotton belts were tossed in favor of more modern belts..
