It has opened up a whole new tiger can of worms .....
I only had this pattern in the rare patrol cap which came into being in 62 , now I have just seen another ISSUE shirt in this print , so the 62 time frame is correct.

And I got the mans USMC cut cap from another collector !
Its the one on the right , the left one is a Viet cut patrol capo in the same pattern .
Pretty impossible to find .

What stands out the most about this set is the brightness of the camo colors. You only see stuff that bright on later repro stuff but in the wrong print.
The shot where you have it on the railings, you almost loose the set against the trees as its a perfect color match.
Shame they stopped making it , works better than that grey tat they send you to fight in.

So its looking like my guy was in a HML unit as they were stationed in Japan and only were on 6 month tours , this explains the uniforms from him.
