    Reapplying patches,yes or no?

Post by AndyD on Thu Feb 16, 2012 11:01 am

If you have a shirt where the insignia has been removed but you know what they were,is it ok to reapply these?

I was thinking along the lines of if you sell it at a later date,so long as the buyer knows,is it ok?

    Cheers,
    Andy

Haha, the old question of reapplying patches, hopefully this will open up a healthy debate amongst collectors.

My take on this is, if you know where the item was used, and resew patches in keeping with the conflict, and then if you move the item on at a later date, so as long as you are upfront and say that the patches were re-applied and are not original to the piece, then I don't see a problem personally.

I don't see a problem in that. If you really know what was on there... why not?
