Hi Steve, the last two digits of the serial number is the date - 1994. The uniform was also issued in a variant of DPM simultaneously, and that seems to be the more common variant judging by the frequency of its appearance in various media from the time.
There is also one very exotic (previously unseen) camouflage type on this same type of uniform.
