Took some time to get registered into this great site. I've been collecting lots of things. Finn, The IDF and all world. Attached a photo as an example of mixed oufits. The photo shows a team of Finn navy combat divers-naval cmdos. No, I served as a deck ape.

Are those US boonies or just the Finnish pattern in a wet look?

And is the second guy from the right wearing his NVG's in bright daylight?

Yes, those guys are well trained. Maybe they pose a little in that photo, but they have their own systems. Like using US boonies. Generally the camo-combat dress rules are strict, but that rule does not always consider elite or SF units. Like everywhere. One example attached. In the photo is a Bear group member (Finn Police SWAT). On right behind a "regular" officer. As you notice, he has British DPM. I don't exactly know why, but the Bear guys have their reasons depending on the task/situation.

Ahh, yes and thank you for additional photo!
I think most SF units enjoy, or rather demand, the somewhat less rigid rules around uniforms or personal gear.

Maybe the guy in Brit DPM is an exchange officer ? Not that I've heard of an exchange between our countries but then again, I know cack-all !!
