    Hi all,

    This OD combat shirt is what I believe to be an in between type.

    It is clearly not a first pattern item.

    It does have the bug/gas flap behind the button flap. Also has

    adjustment buttons on the rear waist area. No shoulder straps,

    no exposed buttons. Some communist removed the patches.

    I believe it is between the 2nd pattern and the 3rd.

    Strangely, no unit patch seems to have been ever present.
    Apparently US Army& Name tapes, rank, and parachutist insignia
    have been removed.

    Rip.
    Its a 3rd pattern.
    There are at least 5 patterns of this coat ..........but if you allow for allow for the insect cloth and the 72 pattern experimental there may be 7 .
