Yugoslav Small Puzzle items

Here's a couple of my "small puzzle" pattern pieces from the late 1980s. This was the predecessor to the enlarged pattern used by the JNA and militia forces. It is also the same pattern used by Slovenija in both grays and desert colors.





I also have a standard jacket, trousers, and hat in this pattern. I don't know what other pieces might have been made in it before it was dropped.

very nice stuff you've got there ... how close is this pattern to the actual Slovenian pattern ... I've got the feeling the slovenian "puzzles" seem to be more "edged" in comparison ... but maybe it is just me

As can be seen, the two patterns are 100% identical. The only difference is the Yugoslav pattern uses 5 colors and the Slovene only 4. If you look at the large shapes on the Slovene pattern you'll see that there are two colors on the Yugoslav pattern.

I'm pretty sure the larger Yugo/Serb pattern is a simple enlargement of this pattern.

thanks also Steve ... now it is clearer ... I didn't know that the slovenian camo uses only 4 colours when still remaining the same pattern ... very interesting
