Nice looking impression! I used to Civil War reenact with my dad many years ago. I used to enjoy it, but the politics killed all the pleasure for me after awhile. Looking good, Tyler!!!

p.s. It would be nice to have a backyard like that. I live in the city and all I see is my neighbor and her yappy little Yorkie.

Yup, everything in the photo is mine.

Yeah, it's a nice yard, about 2 acres, and over 200 acres of other people's woods behind us. Lots of trails, some deer, fox, skunk, racoon, opossum etc...

    Hello Paul!
What's with the jump wings on the helmet? For that matter what's with the helmet? We only took a steel pot with us once and no one put any type insignia on them. The first thing I did when we drew fire was to dump the damn helmet! Never saw it again. I never wore anything but a tiger boonie hat.
When we were working with the IV Corp Mike Force, none of them had steel pots either.

Is that an issue Urban Warrior Set or a repro...if its issue, I hate you Wink

Your USMC in Somalia set is for operation Restore Hope, no? Check out this link USMC in Somalia

From what it looks like, a lot of the guys were using Jungle boots instead of the desert boots (I guess they still were the bastard children...2 years after ODS) and they had some funky mix of woodland,3 color and 6 color desert. Some of those guys look pretty sloppy. Fun Fact: The Son of Mohammed Farrah Aidid, Hussein Mohamed Farrah, was a US Marine that participated in Operation Restore Hope, and a few years later after his fathers death, took over as Predident of the Republic of Somalia...crazy huh!

Where is the EGA on that helmet cover boy?...and you call yourself a Marine! Wink

    Looking good, as usual Philip!

Here is my Set of AOR1/Digi2/NWUII...it isnt complete, and the Plate Carrier is a 5.11 Lightweight Plate carrier...but the hardest part is over, finding the AOR1! Im not a Reenactor, and I cant fit into the pants...so a few thumbtacks and some soup cans in the boots will have to do! Very Happy

Great pics! Same wish as last time for your next shooting: Please fill your Ammo-Pouches.

Question to the Night Desert-Pics: I have been told, that the Parka and the Trousers should be worn over the PASGT-Vest. Is that correct or the way, philip does? Has anyone here according pictures?

You can tell from the design of them that they were made to be worn over pretty much anything..they are HUGE and really baggy, even when you wear one in the proper size
