Garand Ammo Belt ID Needed Please-Israeli?

Camera is playing up so will post pics up as soon as I can.

Did the Israelis use the US Garand type ammo belt at all Post War as I have a nice one and reason thinking it may be Israeli is the way the markings at the rear have been obscured with black ink/paint as is seen on Israeli items.

I don't think that's a US made Garand belt, the belt closure is not US style

Thanks,had gathered that by the British looking buckles. Sure Turkey,Greece,Belgium and many other countries used them but was the inked disposal stamps that made me think Israeli.
