us nbc suit /night vision jacket

just to share this m81 woodland nbc suit dated 1990 and this 84 dated grid pattern jacket ,supposedly to negate the first generation soviet infrared goggles

nice display Thunderchild... as ever!!!!! I 've always quite liked the almost as soon as issued obsolete, grid pattern stuff!!!

And made quite popular in the Civvy world I believe a few years back when Jamie Oliver was seen wearing one while zooming about on his Vespa type scooter.

thanks richard ,i missed that one of jamie ,this jacket had been played about with civvy style too ,i no doubt will pick up a set of matching trousers one day and they dont seem to dear on fleabay,the parka has an odd frontal pocket arrangement though as they just access the inner liner and not an enclosed pocket ,very strange

As it was an over garment,common to have just pass through pockets in order to gain access to clothing that was worn underneath.
