Nice indeed! Very hard to find. However, this is not "mountain desert". "Mountain" is a gray/blue DPM type pattern and "Mountain Desert" is the same thing but in desert colors. I'm not sure what the name is for this pattern. I've always thought of it as "Uzbek Woodland" or just "Uzbek".
Kursant, is there a name for this camouflage pattern? What is the difference between 1st and 2nd Models of the winter uniform?

Steve, actually all camo patterns of these colours in Uzbekistan are known as "Mountain desert"
As for editions, you can see, that this jacket is for soldiers and it has quilted fastening lining and doesn't have collar.
Editions for officers usually have fur collar.
Also there are editions in which lining is as a whole of the jacket.
Cap is also very interesting, because it is also one of the earliest editions, it has back cover from sand-coloured clothes to protect backside of head and neck from sun, later editions had only camo covers, and the last ones didn't have any cover at all.

Thanks for the information! OK, let' see if I have it straight.
This pattern that metal73 has, and was the first post-Soviet type, is known as "mountain desert". The type that is blue/gray DPM is called "mountain-stone", and the desert DPM type is called "mountain-sand".
Do I have that correct?

I suspect the Uzbeks inherited this camouflage out of the Soviet Butane project for the southern republics, which also gave birth to the "Moldovan" and other patterns.

I have not compared the patterns side by side, but I am sure you are correct. At the very least it is a conceptual copy with more beautiful colors
