Very nice!! Not easy to find at all. And when I do see them for sale the seller wants too much money and the shipping costs are horrible.

That is the original type. It is actually 4 color vs. the current 3 color pattern. Colors are, obviously, very different. It was originally produced in a more conventional uniform and then changed to the current one. The winter coats are even rarer than the uniforms.

There's a guy selling 'em on German eBay. Expensive to say the least. Then there's the shipping. Unless it's a special "must have!" item I wouldn't recommend it.

The Desert parka is fantastic. Well built and warm.
Not a must have right now, but definitely on the wish list .
I do need to grab some Baltic kit, but cannot spend sick dough for it.
Would be more than happy with a more affordable standard set to hold me down for now...
Perhaps our good buddy Alex can keep an eye out...

Its a very cool jacket Sal, especially with patches and
rank insignia. I wanted to test the parka since October, but its still to
warm in Austria to wear it with the liner.
