Cobra Gold is a series of exercise conducted between Thailand and the United States starting in 1982. Although, with recent events in Thailand putting a strain on US-Thai relations, the US has reduced it's participation in these exercises in the past year, and has not yet met to discuss Cobra Gold 2016.
The beret and T-Shirt are both souvenirs from the 90's, and are in two different shades of Thai "Shadow Tigerstripe".
