Fixed!
Great thread! I have a Mk60 which looks like it's designed for aircraft personnel as it has an integrated system for hoisting by something like a tether line from a helicopter. Is that true?
It also has the weird kidney shaped zip pouch on the back. What is that pouch for?

Ah! Now I remember having a discussion about this a while ago, before I got my Mk60. Didn't connect it until now. Thanks!
So the big difference between the Mk60 and Mk61 is that the M60 had integrated pouches on it while the Mk61 has attachment points? And he Armored Aircrew variant has an attachment point for a hoist and an integrated (detachable) flotation bladder?
Are either marks in either coloration particularly difficult to come by?

Hi Steve, I got the MTP MK61 from my contact, I haven't seen another one on ebay or elsewhere. The Desert DPM on the other hand a chap was selling two new ones for £25, which I snapped one up. He was also selling the detachable flotation bladder and individual pouches - these were expensive considering the vest. Lovely made kit...I noticed the MTP vest has been customised after looking at the new Desert vest.
