The right one is for the "Groupement des Commandos Parachutistes - GCP" (pathfinders battlegroup).
In every airborne regiment, you can find a pathfinder platoon with two or three teams. In case of emergency, they could act as a unit (Desert storm for example).
HALO qualified, they are used as commandos in Afghanistan or Mali.
The former name was Commandos de Recherche et d'Action en Profondeur (Deep action and reserch commandos) but unfortunately the acronym was C.R.A.P. A kind american officer asked to a battlegroup commander, a lieutnenat colonel if he was aware of the signification of the acronym in english. Few weeks after the commandos got a new name : GCP.
