UBACS, Blue DPM, Enemy/Opposing Forces

Back in May 2015 we discussed this pattern and its use in BATUS (see link below), I managed to pick this up last week, just got to find the trousers, smock and helmet cover! I wonder if there was a shirt too....

I like this stuff a lot. But I guess its not easy to find.

The first example i've seen so far.

Bravo George! Amazing find as always...what's the quality like? Is it the same material as the production MTP? I have been searching hi and low for some of this to no avail!!

Thanks Lee, it just feels like standard MTP material and it's new so has that 'sheen' to it, identical in construction to the MK3 UBACS (full MTP), thats why i specifically detailed the zig-zag pattern on the collar and hollow velcro on the pockets, unfortunately i dont have one to compre to right now so just used my shirt.

Does this turn up very often? I'd love to add this to my collection, seeing as I love both DPM and blue camos. This is, in my book, a perfect pairing!

That looks to be a match doesnt it! If you rotate the screen shot by 180 degrees its a match to the closeup of the pattern i posted (2nd image from bottom) - good find Lee

Agree George...still trying to get my hands on some of this kit!!! Hens teeth spring to mind!!!

Reference Lee's post above, I purchased some of this material and compared it to the UBACS.

The material is unfortunately not as great a match as I had hoped, and the shapes are a bit off also.

I still really like this material and I'm sure it'll come in handy one day. A new pair of curtains perhaps...
