    Recent arrival.

Splinter patterns are just fantastic.  This is the first such pattern in my hoard.

Well made and in new conditions with tailor tags and chalk marks.

You got that all at once? Heh... might as well go "all in" now and get the other dozen variants out there Very Happy

This looks to be the last type made before switching to the DPM style. The older types had exposed buttons on the pockets and scalloped flaps. Yours are velcro closed with straight flaps? Are there dates on anything? Some of my later pieces do have dates on them, but for the most part not.

One stop shop for this one..

The ensamble dates  from the '90s ; only  the trousers are actually dated ( 1994 ).

Velcro secures coat and shirt  pockets and placket on coat  which also  has a sturdy full lenght zipper.

Coat and trousers have a button in liners and the cap is also insulated.

Definitely need lightweight examples of this great pattern.  As you say, there a quite a few variants ...
